Hollow voices that come bouncing from walls and ceilings; shadows and steles that seem to flee from their silhouettes, tight groups of relatives or friends that move as if linked among them; saris that slide up and down stairs of polished rock, children that run and hide among the forest of columns, devotees that among blackened and humid walls gesticulate before their most beloved deity, beggars, and others that are not, that rest on the rough stone floor. Night and day. The stage is never left alone, the actors follow one after the other, without intention but without gaps, the show never ceases.
